ANYONE on the premises for whatever reason, and regardless of any disability or special care issues, all possibilities need to be catered for.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
In England and Wales, if you’re an employer, owner, landlord or occupier of business or other non-domestic premises, the important responsibility for fire safety and fire protection lies with you, and as such you are known as the ‘Responsible Person’. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force on 1st October 2006 and was the biggest single change to fire safety legislation in over 35 years, and details what you have to do to comply with the law.
The ‘Responsible Person’ has the duty to make sure a Fire Risk Assessment is carried out, although in order for risks to be fully assessed and not overlooked, it is advised to get a professional and competent, experienced and qualified person to perform the task – an ideal example of someone who fits that criteria would be our own Steve at Spark-Risk.
There is every chance your premises will have been built in line with modern building regulations, and if so your structural fire precautions should be satisfactory, but a Fire Risk Assessment should still be carried out to ensure you keep on top of all fire precautions and routines, to identify all the possible fire hazards in the work environment and to detail what prevention measures are required, especially so in older premises.
All non-domestic premises now require an FRA as part of this legislation, so why leave important details to chance, if as the Responsible Person, you’re not fully confident or sure of what is actually required?… Spark-Risk Ltd are happy to take on your Fire Risk Assessment, regardless of your location or distance from our Warrington base; we carry out anything from single FRA’s to large national portfolios for clients with multiple sites, and are happy to visit you at your convenience, and ensure you’re fully compliant with regulations, and give recommendations and offer services to guarantee you’re in a property that is as safe as possible from fire.
